Kisters 3DViewStation offers a feature for drill hole detection.
This feature analyzes drill holes and calculates and displays descriptive parameters such as diameter, depth, and chamfer. For more complex drill holes, parameters can be displayed multiple times with different values.
The drill hole detection feature is available as an interactive measurement function, in which a drill hole is selected manually and the results are then displayed. However, you can also perform an analysis of the entire part, allowing you to examine all drill holes in a single step.
To verify the results or to get a sense of the interior of a drill hole, the model can be sectioned.
